UConn eCampus empowers faculty and students to engage in impactful teaching and learning experiences across online and mixed-mode courses and programs at the University of Connecticut.
We partner directly with faculty to design, develop, and deliver high-quality undergraduate and graduate courses, post-baccalaureate and graduate certificates, and degree programs offered in online and hybrid modalities. Our team ensures that all online offerings comply with federal and state regulations, University policies, and NECHE accreditation standards.
For students, we provide access to research-based learning environments, resources, and support designed to promote engagement, active learning, meaningful assessment, and authentic connection with instructors and peers. Through our work, UConn eCampus advances the University’s mission to provide accessible, innovative, and high-quality learning experiences for all students.
Accreditation and Standards
The University of Connecticut is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). All eCampus-supported courses are designed to meet Quality Matters™ standards and are aligned with the Online Learning Consortium’s (OLC) Quality Framework.
These standards ensure that every UConn online course reflects the same academic rigor, accessibility, and instructional excellence as courses offered on campus.
Academic Credit
There is no distinction between credits earned through UConn’s on-campus or online courses. All credits appear identically on official University transcripts, reflecting the same high-quality academic standards across all learning environments.
Student Services
All UConn online students have access to the same university services as on-campus students, including:
- HuskyCT, UConn’s online learning platform
- UConn Library System, providing digital access to collections and research support
- Microsoft 365 for communication and collaboration
- ITS Technology Support Center for technical assistance
